This years Faire was nothing like any of the other Faires I had been too. The experience of looking at all things critically and placing myself in the time changed how I saw the activities and events of the day. From throwing javelins to eating soup in a bread bowl, I was taken to a different time by allowing myself to completely immerse myself in the time. I became an economist while I looked on at all the craftsman who worked at their craft. I was a mathematician as I placed educated bets on the best knights in the joust (even though I lost. Trial and error, I suppose). When seeing the Queen I looked at her through the eyes of a politician and came to see that she was a mighty and graceful ruler. Being apart of these knowledge's today that have roots deep within this era has changed my outlook on my major, Liberal Studies.
